To Those I Love

Hi, how are ya today, good I'm sure. Living here on the South Shore of Boston Ma I am use to hearing on the news reports of fatal shootings. This one somehow touched me a little deeper, I mean how could it not. I find it hard to even think of the person or persons that could do this to such a beautiful mother and child as human. If you care to please join me in lighting a candle in memory of these victims. There were 4 of them all together, two other men as well. I included the link below to the story. I read this poem at my mother in laws funeral, I feel it is fitting for these victims as well.
Thanks you for visiting my blog,
Love ya,
Janet :)

The Victims Names
2-year-old Amani Smith; his mother, 21-year-old
Eyanna Flonory, her boyfriend 21-year-old Simba Martin;
and 22-year-old Levaughn Washum-Garrison.

To Those I Love And Those Who Loved Me

When I am gone release me, please just let me go.
I have so many things to do, I leave you now and so;
You must not suffer for my loss or bother with the tears
Just be grateful we shared all these many years;
I gave you my love, and you can only guess
How in return you gave me so much happiness;
I thank you for the love each of you have shown
But now it’s time I traveled went on ahead alone;
So grieve awhile for me, if grieve you must
But know that I am now with the Lord I trust;

It’s only for a while that we must be apart
I am there in the memories encased within your heart;
I won’t be far, for life will go on some.
When you need me, call me, and I will come;
You won’t see me nor touch me, but I’ll be near.
Never too far to comfort your hurt or a tear
Listen to your heart…my whispers you’ll hear.
All my love around you soft and near.

When your time has come to make your way alone
I’ll greet you, smile, and whisper…
"Welcome Home."
